I am a Ph.D. student at Reykjavik University in Iceland and KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) in Stockholm under a
double degree contract. My supervisors are Dr. Mads Dam at KTH andDr. Ari K. Jónsson
at Reykjavik University. The thesis subject is broadly security properties of
distributed systems, in particular distributed aggregation networks,
and applications of such networks in various practical applications,
including distributed anomaly detection.I live in Reykjavik with my family, Fjóla, associate professor at the University of Iceland, and my two children, Vala Rún and Jón Valur. My shedule does unfortunately not allow much time for extracurricular activities, but I do enjoy photograpy and music. Some of my photography work can be found at photo.net .
