Projects

Here are some of the projects which I am currently involved in or have been in the past

HttpTools

HttpTools is a set of compnents and tools for the OMNeT++ discrete event simulator. The components model Web server and browser nodes in some detail. This is describted in a paper presented at the 2nd OMNeT++ Workshop in march 2009. The project source and wiki is located at google code. API documentation and further documentation is coming soon.

Opponet

Opponet is a side project from my MSc dissertation work and began when I was visiting the Laboratory for Communication Networks (LCN) in the spring 2007. It is managed jointly by myself and Olafur R. Helgason at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden. The goal of the project is to create a framework for support of opportunistic mobile wireless networking simulations in OMNeT++. The project  source and wiki is located atgoogle code. The project was described in a paper presented at the 1st OMNeT++ conference in march 2008.

PODNET

PodNet is a project for developing a wireless peer-to-peer podcasting solution, which uses the users mobility as the primary force of content dissemination. My MSc dissertation work was related to this project and contributed a simulation model of a ad-hoc peer-to-peer content distributioin network and a proof-of-concept node prototype in Python. This is further described in myMSc dissertation. This project is not active at the present time.
