REYST fyrirlestur um kolefnisjöfnun með því að fóðra ör-þörunga á jarðhitagasi
Orkuskólinn REYST er í eigu HR, HÍ og OR. Nemendur REYST eru skráðir í báða háskólana og útskrifast með sameiginlega prófgráðu (120 ECTS meistarapróf).
Annar REYST fyrirlesturinn í vetur verður haldinn miðvikudaginn 21. október, í ráðstefnusal OR að Bæjarhálsi 1, kl. 12:00-12:40. Fyrirlesturinn verður fluttur á ensku.

Topic: Microalgae from the Blue Lagoon (BL) are among the actives used in the BLUE LAGOON ICELAND skin care products. The algae biomass is produced at the production plant for the Blue Lagoon raw materials in Svartsengi. Currently BL is developing utilization of CO2 flue gas from the HS-Orka power plant in Svartsengi for cultivation of the algae aiming at lowered carbon emission related to the production of the Blue Lagoon products.
