Bio

I received my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland and my Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Reykjavík University I worked at the University of Maryland doing electron beam research, and at Orkustofnun where I worked in the field of alternative fuels. My research interests are somewhat varied, but currently I am working on some issues concerning energy policy. I am also interested in micro scale vacuum electronic devices and plasma physics in general.
