Magnús M. Halldórsson receives first RU Research Award
Magnús M. Halldórsson, the scientific director of ICE-TCS and professor in The School of Computer Science, received the first RU Research Award at the early Compass Meeting for staff and faculty at RU in February 2010.
The purpose of the RU Research Award is to encourage excellence in research at RU.
Magnús' nomination was signed by 13 members of faculty from four different schools at RU. His research interests are algorithms, bioinformatics and networked computation.
