Targeting networks with trans cranial magnetic stimulation
The Institute for Biomedical and Neural Engineering at Reykjavik University is hosting a lecture.
Dr Eric Wassermann Neurology Unit, Behavioural National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Bethesda, MD, United State will hold a lecture called "Targeting networks with trans cranial magnetic stimulation" on the 19th of March at 15:30 in room M103.
Dr. Wassermann got his medical degree at New York Medical College and trained in neurology at the Boston City Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Human Motor Control with Mark Hallett at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and stayed there as an independent investigator. His primary scientific interest is in directing and modulating brain plasticity and learning with noninvasive brain stimulation techniques, but he has also become one of the leading experts on noninvasive brain stimulation itself.
