On Friday the 24th of June at 11:00, room M104, Sævar Már Atlason will be defending his MSc project (30 ECTS).
Abstract: The Report of Condition and Income (Call Report) is a regulatory report that all Financial Institutes in the US are required to submit quarterly to the FFIEC. These reports provide detailed information about the institute´s financial holdings. In a broader scope the reports can provide insights into the behaviour of the USA banking system. In this thesis the data from these reports is used to create a graphical representation and demonstrate how the distribution of money has developed over the past 20 years. The results show that a graphic representation is useful to analyse changes in the geographical distribution of money from 2001 to 2021 in the USA.
