Title: Single Cell RNA-Sequence analysis with kallisto
Abstract: Single Cell RNA-Sequencing (scRNA-Seq) provides a unique look into the function of tissue at the individual cell level. This talk will give an overview of the current technologies for scRNA-Seq, the workflows used and data analysis. We will cover recent developments that use kallisto for scRNA-Seq analysis, challenges in scaling to large datasets both algorithmic and downstream data analysis. The talk will focus on the CS challenges and assumes no background in biology or genetics.
