An approach to the estimation of environmental performance of flue gas/polluted air treatment technology.

The lecture will present an approach to the estimation of environmental performance of flue gas/polluted air treatment technology, including plasma, filtration, sorption and biological oxidation. Methodological challenges of life cycle assessment (LCA) applications to such task will be discussed to support claims of overall sustainability of these technologies.
