Biometric entropy of retina

In this presentation, we will focus in more detail on the retinal biometric feature. It will be shown the possibilities of its biometric recognition and existing applications. Furthermore, the own method of detection of the features, their processing and statistical evaluation will be described. Finally, diseases that visibly affect the retina will be presented.

Lukáš Semerád is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology in the Czech Republic. He completed his master's degree with specialization in Cybersecurity. And now he is engaged in biometrics, specifically eye retina research. He also teaches courses in machine languages for processors, the basis of artificial intelligence and intelligent sensors. The topic of his dissertation, which he has already completed, is Theoretical and experimental determination of biometric entropy of the human eye retina.

Lukáš Semerád will give a lecture titled "Biometric entropy of retina" Friday August 19th at 11am in room M325.
