Title: Bivincular Patterns: Simultaneous Avoidance of a Vincular and a Covincular Pattern of Length 3

Abstract: Vincular patterns were first introduced by Babson and Steingrímsson. These were later generalised by Bousquet-Mélou, Claesson, Dukes and Kitaev to bivincular patterns. Here we will look at the enumeration of the simultaneous avoidance of any length three vincular pattern and any length three covincular pattern and where possible link them to already known sequences (including amongst others the Catalan and Motzkin numbers).
