Title: Hexbots post-AlphaGo

Abstract: Hex is the classic connection game invented by Piet Hein in 1942 and popularized through the interest of John Nash and David Gale and Martin Gardner.

I will also say a few words about our forthcoming book, ``Twist and Turn: the story of the game of Hex''
