Modeling the Marine Ecosystem towards an Agent-Based Approach

In this seminar, we will introduce the stock assessment and modeling of the fish population, addressed with an Agent-based approach. In particular, we will present the common sole (Sole sole L.) case study, demersal fish species of the Adriatic Sea. Continuing, with the work developed at a micro-scale, representing an average square kilometer. In addition, the different simulation scenarios, that can be performed with the simulator. Moreover, we will present the idea for extend the simulator to reach the whole sea surface, macro-scale simulator. In conclusion, we will show the software tool, in its two current versions, micro-scale and micro-macro scale
