Mastering innovation & design thinking

To be very successful, it is necessary to think like a designer when approaching any task, especially when working within a team or leading a team. The world's best companies, including Apple, Tesla, Adobe, and others, innovate continuously using Design-Thinking techniques. Design-Thinking is a structured way to be incredibly innovative in every task you do, from creating a new product or a service, to developing the solution to a problem that appears to be impossible to solve.

In this 1-day course, Blade Kotelly teaches a proven design process and vision creation process. By applying a design-thinking approach, participants will be able to conceive of innovative solutions, deeply understand who real stakeholders are and what they care about, create vision that gets buy-in from senior management and colleagues, avoid hazards, and create solutions that people love both emotionally and intellectually.

Teaching methods
Participants will experience design-thinking first hand in a highly interactive class. In that way, they expand their ability to conceive and create powerful solutions.

Highlights include:

  • Understanding and learning to apply a 10-Step Design Process
  • Learning to evaluate good and bad designs
  • Developing and understanding the complex network of stakeholders involved in any project
  • Rapidly creating and refining a vision for any product or service
  • Effectively understanding if your end-users will be delighted by your product or service
  • Learning the leadership skills needed to have innovative teams
