Lecturer:
Professor Mario Tomljanovic is a professor at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split (Croatia). He is also a lecturer in the Croatian football academy. He has worked in the football club Hajduk Split as Head of Performance and Strength and Conditioning coordinator for all selections.
Abstract:
What is high performance in football? A lot of high-performance teams think high performance is GPS tracking, sleep monitoring, saliva, urine, blood analysis, brain wave monitoring… “Big elephants” in the room: clear schedules, checklists, roles and responsibilities, meeting communications… Who is involved? Coaches, physiotherapist, doctors, sports scientist, nutritionist, psychologists, life coaches…
