Seres Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center
Reykjavik University's innovation and entrepreneurship center is located at Bragginn in Nauthólsvík, a short distance from RU. With stunning views over Nauthólsvík and the sea, the center offers an inspiring setting to foster creativity and innovation.
Seres provides a purpose-built workspace for individuals eager to turn their ideas into reality. Applications for workspace are open to anyone, requiring only an idea and the determination to see it through from start to finish. Current and former RU students are given priority.

Seres is designed for students to refine and implement their business ideas. Each innovation project granted workspace at Seres gains access to the following:

Sproti – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of RU's Student Association (SFHR)
The entrepreneurship center, Seres, is operated by the Office of the Rector in collaboration with Sproti, RU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee. The committee has also been involved in managing Gulleggið, Iceland’s largest entrepreneurship competition, in partnership with KLAK.
Sproti consists of students from various disciplines, including engineering, business, and computer science, creating a diverse and dynamic team.

Events
Sproti regularly organizes events such as company visits and open discussions with influential figures from the business world. The goal is to provide students with an engaging insight into Iceland’s innovation landscape.

Who Operates the Entrepreneurship Center?
The entrepreneurship center is run by the Office of the Rector in collaboration with Sproti – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of SFHR. This student-led committee also collaborates with Icelandic Startups as part of the management of Gulleggið. Members of Sproti represent various disciplines, such as engineering, business, and computer science, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to innovation and entrepreneurship.
