Integrating the UN Goals Across Departments

As part of its commitment to sustainability, RU works systematically to implement the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) across all its departments. Established at a United Nations leadership summit in Geneva in 2007, PRME aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to address challenges in the business world as future leaders and managers.

Through PRME, all RU students will gain education and insights into fostering awareness on issues related to social responsibility, sustainability, and ethical leadership.

Environmental Initiatives at RU

RU has signed a declaration on climate issues, pledging to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimize negative environmental impacts through deliberate actions. Initiatives include:

  • Waste Management: Restructuring waste sorting systems and reducing plastic use.
  • Transportation Agreements: Many staff members have signed transportation agreements to promote eco-friendly commuting.
  • Awareness Campaigns: RU organized Environment Week to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and sustainability.

RU continues to lead by example, embedding environmental consciousness and responsibility into its operations and culture.
