About RU

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and global challenges have been key considerations in defining the primary research and collaboration priorities of the School of Technology. These priorities include sustainability, data science in healthcare, traceability, and language technology. By establishing these four focus areas, the school aims to enhance the coordination and impact of its research while fostering stronger collaboration and communication with other universities and the business community.

The school's research spans a wide range of fields, including biotechnology, tissue engineering, optimization, language technology, financial technology, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, nanotechnology, fluid dynamics, decision-making, sleep studies, human-computer interaction, and more. Research efforts are increasingly interdisciplinary and are conducted within twelve specialized research centres.
