Quality Management
According to the Icelandic Quality Enhancement framework, regular and systematic evaluations of the quality of university activities in Iceland should be conducted. This evaluation includes internal assessments by the universities of their academic activities and external assessments conducted by the IAQA.
Quality assurance system for learning and teaching
The quality assurance system for learning and teaching ensures the quality of certain aspects of RU's operations. It is related to the evaluations of the Icelandic Agency for Quality Assurance (IAQA) and international accreditations that individual departments of RU have undergone.
Quality Assurance System in Research
The main objective of the assessment is to examine the quality of the research and research activity of all academic employees at RU during a 6 year period. The RU Research Council is responsible for and in charge of the assessment in collaboration with RU Research Services.
