Celebrating RU students who won the robot battle
Two teams from Reykjavík University won the University of Iceland Design Competition at UTmessan on February 7. The winning team was RAM æturnar, and RU Robotics won the award for the most original idea.
On February 17, we will celebrate our participants and review the performance in the prestigious University of Iceland Design Competition.
Videos of the robots as they competed will be shown, and we will hear how our students performed. There will also be a panel discussion.
🎤 The panel: After the video presentations, the competitors will answer questions from HR experts. The design process will be reviewed, and there will be an open discussion about what went well and what could be improved.
The panel includes: Ásgeir Ásgeirsson, Dean of the School of Technology, Dr. Ármann Gylfason, Dean of the School of Engineering, and Baldur Þorgils, university lecturer and electrical engineer.
🍕 Pizza and soft drinks will be provided to fuel the hearts of technology and engineering enthusiasts while the designs are reviewed.
