Dr. Susanne Durst number one in Iceland in Research.com’s ranking

Dr. Susanne Durst, professor at RU‘s Department for Business and Economics, has ranked number 1 in Iceland on Research.com‘s 2025 Edition of the Ranking of Best Scientists in the field of Business and Management.

The ranking is based on D-index (Discipline H-index) metric, which only includes papers and citation values for an examined discipline. The ranking includes only leading scientists with D-index of at least 30 for academic publications made in the area of Business and Management.

Dr. Durst’s research interests include knowledge (risk) management, innovation management, sustainable business development and responsible digitalization, in conjunction with smaller entrepreneurial organizations in particular. She has led several international research projects and her work has been recognized through different awards, including an Emerald Literati Award "Outstanding Paper" in 2020 and 2023.
