Erla Ósk appointed Director of EMBA at RU

Erla Ósk Wissler Pétursdóttir has been appointed Director of the Executive MBA (EMBA) program at Reykjavik University.

Erla joins RU from Marine Collagen in Grindavík, where she was Managing Director from 2021. She graduated from the EMBA program at RU in 2023 and earned a degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, in 2004.

Erla has extensive leadership experience from the business sector. Before her role at Marine Collagen, she served as HR Manager at Vísir in Grindavík and Managing Director of Codland ehf. Additionally, Erla is a board member of Síldarvinnslan and has previously served on the boards of Fisheries Iceland and the Innovation Fund Iceland.
