Researchers' Night (Vísindavaka) in Iceland will be held on Saturday, 26 September in Laugardalshöll. Researchers' Night is a true celebration of science in Iceland, where visitors can experience science in a lively way and engage in direct conversation with researchers and scientists from universities, institutions and companies in the Icelandic scientific community.

The programme starts at 12:00 and the Researchers' Night exhibition area will be open until 17:00.

Science is diverse and connects to all corners of society, directly or indirectly. At Researchers' Night, a true celebration of science in Icelandic society, visitors will have the opportunity to meet and talk with our leading scientists and learn about the importance of research and scientific work in modern society. The focal point of Researchers' Night is the exhibition area, where you can learn about research in all fields of study at numerous exhibition stands.

At Researchers' Night, you can try out various tools and equipment that scientists use in their daily work, and there will also be many opportunities to try for yourself how science and innovation work.
