	Iceland is in the Schengen zone. Thus if you are eligible to enter any of the Schengen countries, you are allowed to enter Iceland too. To find out whether yo need a visa to enter Iceland go here. Air travel to Iceland is to Keflavik International Airport which is approximately 40 minutes from Reykjavik. On the Keflavik website there is information on airlines operating into the airport and much more. In particular, there is a link there to the bus company that takes passengers to Reykjavik (this is easy, though; just jump on
the bus you'll see as soon as you get outside the terminal). Note that after the Reykjavik bus terminal, which is a 40 minute drive from the airport, the bus takes people to their hotels, so you should be able to get to your hotel, or at least somewhere pretty close to it, without additional fees (ask your bus driver about that). You might want to buy a roundtrip ticket for the bus when you board it at the airport, which saves you some money (They take credit cards). The following two airlines have direct flights to Reykjavik: Iceland Express is a low-budget airline that flies from three European airports, London Stansted, Copenhagen and Frankfurt Hahn. They are also planning flights from Alicante, Berlin, Friedrichshafen, Gothenburg and Stockholm in 2006. Icelandair has direct flights from Amsterdam, Baltimore-Washington, Barcelona, Berlin, Boston, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Milan, Minneapolis - St. Paul, Munich, New York, Orlando, Oslo, Paris, San Francisco, Stockholm, Zurich.
