On Tuesday, the 17th of March, we invite you to the conference, Nature Meets Play, organised by The BuildAsNature Erasmus project group. The conference takes place at the University of Reykjavík in room V101 from 13-17.

Nature Meets Play - Transforming Environmental Education through Games

In BuildAsNature, we are developing a digital learning experience to enhance multidisciplinary digital skills. The core of this project is to create a serious game for university students to explore and apply nature-based solutions in a simulated environment.

At the “Nature Meets Play“ conference, international specialists in serious games, education and environmental sustainability will present talks and sessions on nature-based solutions and on designing and implementing game-based approaches in environmental education. Also, we will present the first playable prototype of our serious game and share insights from the game development.

The “Nature Meets Play“ conference will take place on March 17th, at 13:00-17:00. Remote participation is welcome and all key sessions will be accessible online for participants who cannot attend on site.

The event is for educators, researchers, practitioners and students interested in serious games, sustainability, or nature‑based solutions in education.

Join us at the intersection of learning, play and sustainable futures!
